Hi, I'm Jared Jamison. I am an accomplished engineering executive with over 20 years’ experience in engineering management, operations, financial management and business strategy. I have served on several boards of directors and served as treasurer for professional organizations. I am a speaker, writer, and adviser on topics of business management and strategy with an emphasis on the A/E industry. I have a passion for strategy and business management and is particularly interested in how these can drive success in architecture and engineering firms.
I am a registered professional engineer with BS and MS degrees in engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have worked as adjunct faculty for the Virginia Commonwealth University Executive MBA program, teaching business planning and have been a guest lecturer for a professional services MBA class at the University of Richmond.

This course was developed specifically for architecture and engineering firms. People learning about accounting and finance for the first time will benefit from this course as much as experienced principals and managers who have taken some financial training in the past. Our courses concentrate on building fundamental business knowledge, so both will benefit from this learning.
